Operation Warm 10.1.23

“More Than a Coat” represents Operation Warm’s commitment to provide youth with warmth, confidence, and hope!

Coats and confidence go hand in hand! For the third year in a row, OceanFirst Foundation teamed up with Operation Warm to provide NEW warm winter coats to more than 4,000 youth throughout Atlantic, Camden, Mercer, Middlesex, and Ocean Counties,  New Jersey and in the Bronx, New York.

Thank you to our amazing partners who helped coordinate distributions to their organization –  Acelero Learning, Anchor House, Better Tomorrows, CYO of Mercer County, Children’s Home Society, LEAP Academy University Charter School, LUCY Outreach, Mercer Street Friends, Makers Place, New Brunswick Tomorrow, Puerto Rican Association For Human DV, The Riverdale Y, and Urban Promise.

Special thanks to our community partners BookSmiles and Bridge of Books, which supported this endeavor by providing free books to youth participating. Also, shoutout to the students from Rutgers School of Nursing, who came to our Better Tomorrows event in Camden to connect with families and provide additional resources.

Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence, and hope through basic need programs that connect underserved children to community resources they need to thrive.
