TONH x OPA Dragon Boat Festival Volunteer Opportunity
Join the Town of North Hempstead and Ohana Paddling Association for the 2nd Annual Dragon Boat Festival at North Hempstead State Park in Port Washington, NY! This exciting event will feature more than 30 dragon boat teams from across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania competing throughout the day.
Volunteers are needed to serve as Marshalling Volunteers, helping direct athletes to race staging areas, check team wristbands, ensure minimum paddler requirements are met, guide teams to the marshalling tent, and assist with directing teams to the docks for boarding. No experience is necessary, making this a great opportunity to be part of a fun, high-energy community event.
