OceanFirst Joins Northern Ocean Habitat’s Women Build!

Since 1991, Habitat’s Women Build volunteers have come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Women Build opportunities are available across the U.S., and any woman or person who wants to learn how to build or repair a home is invited to join. We recently rolled up our sleeves and donned the stylish safety googles to join forces with Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity‘s locally held Women Build.

It was a day full of teamwork, laughter, and purpose at the construction site for Larry’s Home located in Little Egg Harbor. Larry’s Home – a soon-to-be Veteran sober living home – is a partnership between Just Believe Inc. and the Westlake Veterans Group with construction support from Habitat for Humanity.

From painting doors and trim to installing kitchen cabinets, our team went all in on transforming this house into a home. A special shoutout to our bonus team member, Lorrie Johnson of Brick Township, for jumping in and making the day even more memorable!

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to give back—and are already looking forward to the next Women Build.
