17th Season of Home Runs for Heroes Scores $76,000

$76,000! The incredible Jersey Shore BlueClaws knocked it out of the park again this year scoring 18 Military and Veteran serving nonprofits, grants through OceanFirst Foundation’s Home Runs for Heroes program. This bring the total raised over the past 17 years to an incredible $772,000! Partners will use their grants to support the brave men and women who serve and protect our nation in their times of need. More than donations — it’s a celebration of courage, service, and community. That’s what we call a big WIN!

Grants were awarded to: Always Supporting Our Military ($1,000),  American National Red Cross ($3,000), Army Emergency Relief ($3,000), Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation ($1,000), Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton ($1,000), Chariot Riders Inc. ($6,000), Deborah Hospital Foundation ($8,000), GI Go Fund ($6,000), Homes for All ($6,000), Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey ($7,000), Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II, Memorial Fund ($7,000),  Marine Corps. Scholarship Foundation ($3,000), Military Support Alliance ($3,000), National Guard State Family Readiness Council ($6,000), Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society ($8,000), Operation Homefront ($1,000), VetGroup ($3,000), and Volunteers of America ($3,000).
