Summer Camp Grants

Remember how much fun you had at camp as a kid? We’re excited to bring that joyful experience to young people this summer and plan to partner with the very best nonprofits in our footprint to provide $75,000 in Summer Camp Scholarships.

Past recipients of Summer Camp Grants have offered all kinds of interesting, safe and engaging activities, both in-person and virtual, including Scouting, STEAM education, farming, theater, and youth empowerment. Organizations selected to receive Summer Camp Grants must agree to use funds awarded to provide camp scholarships of up to $250 per child to cover the cost of a camp experience.

Organizations interested in applying to participate in the 2021 Summer Camp Grant Program, please click here for the online application. For instructions on completing the application click here. The Foundation will thoroughly review all submissions and make a final decision on grants to be awarded. Please note that applicant organizations must provide services within the OceanFirst Foundation footprint and have 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the IRS. In addition, applicants should be registered in New Jersey as a charity and perform a certified annual audit if required to do so. We confirm tax-exempt status and NJ Charity Registration each time an organization applies.

Organizations that have not previously received a grant from OceanFirst Foundation should call 732-341-4676 to be screened before applying. If you require assistance or do not have access to technology, please reach out so we may accommodate getting your application submitted.

Please Plan Ahead

The deadline to apply for a 2021 Summer Camp Grant is February 15, 2021.
