January 16 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Christian Caring Center – MLK Day Outreach & Nourishment Service Opportunity
Join the Christian Caring Center as they expand their outreach operations in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. This hands-on volunteer experience directly supports vulnerable neighbors during the critical “Code Blue” winter season through pantry assistance, meal preparation, and community outreach.
Volunteer activities include:
- Filling food boxes, assisting clients, and restocking pantry shelves
- Preparing and serving hot meals for the community lunch program and afternoon outreach
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining areas
- Loading outreach vehicles with meals, food boxes, and care packages
- Joining the outreach team to deliver essential items to two homeless encampments and two local hotels—offering encouragement, connection, and hope
Important: Volunteers must also complete registration with Hunger Free America. Sign up here:
