MLK Serve & Learn for Families – Hunger Free America
January 17 @ 10:30 am - 3:00 pm

Hunger Free America will be hosting hunger fighting events nationwide in an effort to fight hunger.
This MLK Weekend of Service, reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and learn about food justice in NYC before turning learning into action. Volunteers will work with Real Dads Network to help prepare sandwiches for the NYCHA Carver Houses community fridge pantry. The program will start with facilitated group learning, followed by hands-on service supporting food justice through direct volunteer action.
Volunteers must sign up directly with Hunger Free America: Hunger Free America | MLK Serve & Learn for families: Prep Meals at Carver Houses – Repair the World
