Scaling New Heights to Fight Hunger: OceanFirst Joins the Music City Drop
November 18, 2025
On a windy afternoon in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, OceanFirst Foundation’s very own Director of Communications & Impact Marketing, Stephanie Toal, took her giving spirit and fundraising to new heights for Move For Hunger – literally! She joined more than 90 brave participants at the top of the Omni Hotel for the 2025 Music City Drop. An unforgettable experience that saw her rappel 20 stories down the building to raise awareness about hunger and food waste.
Through Stephanie’s efforts and with the generous support of OceanFirst Foundation, Move for Hunger was able to secure 10,000 meals for families in need. But the impact didn’t stop there. After conquering the rappel, Stephanie worked alongside other participants to help pack 1,000 snack kits for Second Harvest Food Bank. The kits will ensure that children and families facing food insecurity have access to nutritious snacks.
