WaveMakers Unite for CommUNITYFirst Day – Four Years of Impact and Growing Strong
On September 26, 2025, OceanFirst Bank’s CommUNITYFirst Day united more than 700 passionate WaveMakers – from Boston to Baltimore – to make a lasting difference. For the fourth consecutive year, our team partnered with 24 incredible nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening the fabric of our communities.
What started as a single day of service has grown into a powerful movement of compassion and collaboration. This year’s enhanced structure brought together larger volunteer groups, amplifying impact through revitalized public spaces, support for essential community programs, and hands-on assistance for organizations improving the lives of children, families, and neighbors.
The energy, dedication, and teamwork on display were nothing short of inspiring—a true testament to what’s possible when people unite for a common purpose. CommUNITYFirst Day is more than volunteering; it’s a celebration of partnership, empathy, and the shared belief that stronger communities are built together. Each year, the ripple effect grows wider, driving meaningful change where it’s needed most.
