OceanFirst Joins Northern Ocean Habitat’s Women Build!

Since 1991, Habitat’s Women Build volunteers have come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Women Build opportunities span the U.S., welcoming any woman or individual eager to learn how to build or repair a home.

We recently rolled up our sleeves and donned the stylish safety googles to join forces with Northern Ocean Habitat for Huamnity‘s locally held Women Build.

It was a day full of teamwork, laughter, and purpose at the construction site for Larry’s Home located in Little Egg Harbor. Larry’s Home – a soon-to-be Veteran sober living home – is a partnership between Just Believe Inc. and the Westlake Veterans Group with construction support from Habitat for Humanity.

From painting doors and trim to installing kitchen cabinets, our team went all in on transforming this house into a home. A special shoutout to our bonus team member, Lorrie Johnson of Brick Township, for jumping in and making the day even more memorable!

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to give back – and are already looking forward to the next Northern Ocean Women Build.
