We’re pleased to highlight our OceanFirst Bank colleagues who are making a difference with the Foundation’s nonprofit partners – we call them the “WaveMakers” and they’re extraordinary leaders and volunteers.

I have been with OceanFirst Bank for 7 years.
What role do you play on the Bank Team?
I am the Executive Administrative Assistant for our Southern Region President and our Southern Region Team.
What has been your favorite volunteer activity – and why?
I like collecting donations. It feels great to give something that someone truly needs.
What has volunteering taught you?
Volunteering has taught me the value of making a difference.
If you could have one song play every time you entered a room, what would it be and why?
My song would be American Girl by Tom Petty. It’s a great upbeat song.

I wanted to be a teacher when I was a kid.
If you could turn into an animal, what would it be?
I would be my dog!
If you had one day left to live, how would spend it?
I would definitely be with my family.
What is your favorite quote?
“Be the Best Version of You”
Are you a traveler or a homebody?
I love to travel, but there’s no place like home.
Do you sing in the shower, the car, or both?
I am a terrible singer, but I will sing in the car sometimes when I’m alone. And I have to sing Christmas Carols – until my son tells me to stop!
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I am a morning person.
What was the last thing that made you laugh?
My son and my dog make me laugh every day! My husband is pretty funny too!
